The disadvantages of being an adult at the time of baptism are, that you have less time to learn abut Christ and God and you might also have decided to accept another religion. There are also advantages of being an infant at baptism. You would have much more time to learn about ways of the Christian life and about God. You would be able to become a better person by spending all your life in the Christian faith. You would make your family happy by becoming of the Christian faith, which would be what your family wanted.
There would also be disadvantages. You would not be able to make your own decision. Your family would make that for you. You would not know any thing about Christ and God or the Christian ways or beliefs. You might not like the decision that your family made for you. There is also a possibility of being baptized at the age of ten or eleven. Using all the information gathered this would probably be the best. You would be able to understand it all and you would be able to make your own choice. You would also know a bit about the Christian faith. In conclusion being around ten or eleven I think would be best.
